FA Student Says...
Before I came to Faucher Academy, I never could have imagined doing the things that I've done here. I've traveled to places that I've never been to before. For example, I wouldn't have thought about going up to Porter Ranch to go hiking, or up to Rocky Point to rock climb. These are just two of the ways my school is outdoor oriented. Faucher Academy also helps people by building houses with Habitat for Humanity.
School is the most wonderful experience I have ever had. The classes are small so you can get more help and attention if you need it. All of the teachers make class fun to the point where you don't even realize that you're learning, or even at school. But it's not always fun, because they know when to buckle down, and they can even be somewhat strict at times--for our own good.
I think Faucher Academy is a great school if you're not doing so well where you are right now. For example, I went from a not-so-good student to one that's growing into a stronger and smarter person. This school also helps you become a better human being who will be ready for anything the world throws at you. Kids that have graduated and are here now have learned so much, and have become better people because of Faucher Academy. I love telling my friends about my school. Faucher Academy is a great learning place and welcomes anyone who walks through the door. ~FA High School Student
FA Student Says...
Before Faucher Academy, most of the schools I went to were not exactly good. Most of my old schools didn't care much about the students; there were too many students to pretend to care about. Since the teachers didn't care, they didn't inspire the students to do much with their lives. The teachers and students of FA are different. All of the teachers have a genuine interest in how the students do in class. One of the biggest reasons FA is a great school is that even though it is very small compared to other schools, that just means the teachers can pay more attention to the students who need help.
Another part of Faucher Academy I like is the H.E.A.R.T. program, which is an educational outreach program that teaches about what is going on in the world. Also, the high school students visit the city of Ventura once a month, where we get to see first-hand some of the problems impacting people in that area--beach pollution, stream restoration projects, runoff from local farms, etc. ~FA High School Student

What I really love about the Faucher Academy is the loving faces on the teachers who are always willing to help. Mr. Peters is a jolly, caring man. Miss Rhew is an artistic woman with a heart of gold. And of course, Miss Andrea, the perky science teacher with cool dance moves. The teachers give you help learning (unlike the public school teachers that sit at their desks). Faucher teachers are willing to work with you, and if you're lucky, Mr. Peters will give you a little positive nickname.
The H.E.A.R.T. program really shows what goes on in the real world. Faucher Academy will make things better for you. Chris Faucher is the man with the plan. A plan for a better future for you. He always has a positive attitude, and he loves to surf. ~FA High School Student

FA Parent Says...
We chose Faucher Academy because no other school seemed to meet my son's unique set of abilities. I especially like FA's superior teaching staff and the individual attention they give to each student. Communication with the principal and teachers is open and excellent. Programs like H.E.A.R.T. are a one of a kind opportunity. I can't imagine my son going any other place. It was a lifesaver. This is a school that cares about children first. ~Jim

Many times my teenage son has gotten "Off Track", and Chris and his academy have been there for him. For this, I thank you all. ~Claudia

We chose this school because of the staff''s dedication to the children and their education, as well as the individual care and thought that goes into each student. I especially like the "Family" feeling the school has, the loving yet firm discipline, and how each child is treated like a person. What I like most is the feeling that I'm always welcome on campus, and that the staff is available and helpfull. ~Heather

Faucher Academy is the ideal school for my child, who happens to be very bright. They are able to enhance his talents and stimulate his capabilities. The staff has also given him guidance in his growth and development as an adolescent. Community awareness has also been part of his maturity. Parent communication is always open, and parent participation is welcomed. ~Sophie
